Nolan will be 2 months old on the 21st, this coming Monday, so we headed to the pediatrician to check how “well” he was doing.  He clocked in at 13.5 lbs!  That is in the 80% percentile- so I guess that means he weighs more than 80% of other infants his age…not that I’m shocked since he eats so much.  I only wish I was losing weight as quickly as he’s gaining it.  He’s also 23.5 inches long now- and increase in 1.5 inches since he was born.  His head is now 40 cm around, up from 37 cm at birth.

He does have a little yeast rash so we have to try to get rid of that.  Poor little guy- it’s making him a little more sensitive than normal- and yet this morning when we got up and I changed his diaper he was all smiles despite it all!  What a cutey-pie.

Today I intended to harvest the rest of the green beans and tear down all the rotting vines in preparation for planting of new things.  I say Green Bean Minutes instead of “Green Bean Afternoon” or “Green Bean Day” because I count the time I’m free to do something with both hands in minutes.  Got the Green Beans down and the vines pulled off as desired…Nolan wasn’t too happy towards the end though as he sat in his stroller watching, even though we took multiple breaks to eat, take a walk around the block, and just be held awhile,  so the jaunt back to the house consisted of Nolan in my arms and the green beans in the stroller.  I love carry a warm bundle around in my arms!  Especially when it’s my baby boy.
