All three of us were able to take a short hike in Tilden park last Saturday a little before sunset- it was a beautiful view of the bay area.

Nolan loves being in the backpack carrier while hiking.  So I’ve been doing a lot more of that lately.  Here is a few clips of us on our hike yesterday.

Here’s me and my official weekday hiking buddy!

Nolan and I discovered an awesome place today!  It’s called the Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve in Los Altos.  I can’t believe we never knew about this place.  There is a really adorable farm with a garden and animals that kids can pet and feed and a huge open-air barn for eating your lunch under.  The farm is about a 1 mile hike in, then past the farm there are a bunch of trails for hiking.  It was beautiful!

This Rabbit looks dead but it’s not…I guess he was just sunning himself or something.

There was all this Quail running around with their brood- they were so cute!

Look at this cute little monkey I picked up along the way!

This is California’s third largest Bay Tree.  Not really the prettiest tree, but special for size and the bay leaves which we all use to cook with.
