So I recently went wayyyy more blonde than I’ve ever gone before- and I’m loving the change!  After and before:

And just in case you’re a guy and you don’t know how the whole coloring your hair thing works, here’s a few snapshots!  As you can see, there are no crayons anywhere to be found, but you might be surprised to know that foil is a big part of the process! Just think of all the million of pounds of aluminum foil that goes to waste coloring and highlighting women’s hair….oh well!  That ain’t going to be stopping anytime soon, because if there’s anything women will always not be happy with and always tire of, it’s their hair.  My hair got quite a bit darker after Nolan was born, and I was feeling pretty “blend in with the crowd” before I had this do-over! Here it is when I do it the wavy way- another change after Nolan’s birth- my hair used to be stick straight, but thanks to his coming along and whatever hormonal changes that went with it, I can now scrunch my hair and walla- some wave!

Hey guys!

I finally figured out how to have an audio player on my blog! (Oh Nolan said “No, it’s my blog mom”).  Sorry, ‘scuse me.

SO- what this means is when you come here, if you just look at the bottom of your screen you’ll see a bar were you can now click play on the left-hand side.  Let me know if any of you have trouble seeing it or playing it.  So fun…maybe you’ll all cry more often now.  You know how music when you’re looking at pictures or watching a movie makes you more emotional?  Or sometimes if I look at pictures of a vacation while listening to music it will look like it was even more fun and amazing than it really was in reality.  Lol.

Also- it’s easy to pause by clicking the same button for when you want to watch videos or other sound clips on the blog.

Born December 31, 2010 at 4:51 pm on the very day and almost same hour as the couples 10 year wedding anniversary- how cool is that?

7 lbs. 3 oz.

24 hours of labor

Half asian, half spaniard – mixed kids are the cutest!!

No newborn photos would be complete without one of them crying right?  That’s a newborn’s hobby.  I have already heard tales in my brief conversations with the new parents of lack of sleep, and hours on end spent feeding, pumping, and diaper changing.  Oh how I remember those days….thankfully it passes quickly or we parents would all die of exhaustion before the kids turned 5.   These are Tyler at just 5 days old…haven’t seen him with his eyes open yet- that’s for another post.
